HOUSE OF DAVID

House of David tells the story of the ascent of the biblical figure David, who becomes the most celebrated king of Israel. The series follows the once-mighty King Saul as he falls victim to his own pride. At the direction of God, the prophet Samuel anoints an unlikely, outcast teenager as the new king. As one leader falls, another must rise, and David sets out to discover and fulfill his destiny while navigating love, loss, and violence in the court of the very man he is destined to replace.

Created, co-directed, and co-written by Jon Erwin for Amazon Prime Video, the epic biblical drama is produced by The Wonder Project in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, with international distribution by Lionsgate. It stars newcomer Michael Iskander as David, alongside Ali Suliman as King Saul, Ayelet Zurer as Queen Ahinoam, Stephen Lang as the prophet Samuel, and Martyn Ford as Goliath. Season one premiered February 27, 2025 with its first three episodes, and the series has drawn tens of millions of viewers worldwide across its first two seasons.
