I loved it. Best animation I've ever seen. So crisp and vivid. The music was amazing and the message was wonderful. We need more of this.

Exceeded my expectations completely. So much work went into the world building and character creating. The songs are lovely. I would argue it's just as good as Prince of Egypt. The story stays true to the Bible. We definitely want to see this one again and again.

Overall this is definitely a movie to watch with the family. David is a story that amplifies light with positive messaging about family, taking care of the poor, helping others, trust, humility, and doing what is right in the midst of fear.

The movie blew my expectations out of the water and had me smiling, laughing, and occasionally tearful. David might not be a masterpiece, but it comes close. It is certainly the best Bible-themed animated musical since DreamWorks's Prince of Egypt (1998).

An animated triumph from Angel Studios. It captures the rise of King David with Prince of Egypt quality. The David vs. Saul dynamic is perfectly handled. Emotional, beautiful, and inspiring!

My brother believes this will be like the new generation's Prince of Egypt — and I agree. Phil Wickham did a great job as David. I was so surprised that there were two different people voicing young and adult David — the casting director did a fantastic job matching their voices.

I love everything about Angel Studios and David is no exception! The music was amazing — uplifting, inspiring, and checked all the boxes of a perfect accompaniment to a faith-filled movie. The animation was beautiful. I think it perfectly captured what I envision ancient Israel to look like.

We were thrilled to be able to go to the movies and see something that was wholesome and uplifting! It was so well-done, artfully beautiful, well told, the songs were great and the story takes you through laughing, crying, excitement, and peace.

I took my family to see David and all of my children loved it — and they can be pretty critical of animated movies. My wife and I really enjoyed it as well. The animation was excellent. The music, score, and songs were absolutely incredible. I even purchased the soundtrack!
